Briefly about Omstillingsfonden
What is Omstillingsfonden?
Omstillingsfonden was established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science with the purpose of providing employees in the labor market with a skills boost.
Omstillingsfonden covers participant fees for further education and training, up to DKK 10,000 annually.
Funds are disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Who can apply?
Employees in Danish companies who:
Wish to enroll in an academy or diploma module.
Has a vocational education, upper secondary education, or an equivalent as their highest completed education (Not sure about the level? Search for your education here and verify the level).
For specific courses, you can apply even if you have a Bachelor's degree.

You will need the following
Your Social Security number (CPR)
Your employer’s CVR number
Your MitID
Important steps you need to go through
1. Receive the message in e-Boks: "Tak for din tilmelding" with a link to apply for a subsidy from Omstillingsfonden. NOTE: In our experience, the messages and attached documents are best accessed via borger.dk
2. If you HAVE NOT received a subsidy from Omstillingsfonden this calendar year, fill in the following

5. Receive the message in e-Boks: "Vi sender dig hurtigst muligt en tro- og loveerklæring"
6. Receive the message in e-Boks: ”Omstillingsfond tro- og loveerklæring skal underskrives”
7. Use the link in the mail for your digital signature
8. Have MitID ready
9. Recieve the message in e-Boks: “Kvittering for modtaget dokumentation”

Educational institution: Write the educational institution you have earlier attended (Cphbusiness, Dania or Sydvest/Smart Academy)
Subject: Write the name of the course from which you received the Omstillingsfonden subsidy for
Amount: Write the amount of the subsidy you have received from Omstillingsfonden, e.g. DKK 5,900 (You have recieved a receipt with the amount which was granted to you in e-Boks)
