How to write:
“Disposition and hand-in product”

SUBJECT:
ORGANISATION 5 ECTS

A disposition includes:

  • A short introduction about yourself and your position as a manager

  • Introducing an issue that you will investigate:

    • Describe in details why this issue is interesting for you and your organization to investigate. Please use examples for the reader to understand the situation.

  • A problem statement:

    • One open question framing the above issue

    • Ex. “How can I as a manager….”

  • Your method to answer above problem statement:

    • Describe how you will find an answer to you problem statement

    • Ex. Interviews, questionaires, observations etc.

  • Your theory

    • Shortly list the academic theory that you will use in order to answer the above problem statement

For the exam you need to present
“a product” = a one-paiger showing the specific actions you have made in order to anwer your problem statement including what you will do in the future to adress the problem

For the exam you have 5-10 minutes to present your case.
Remember to time-manage so that your conclusion and main points are presented.

You can use this guideline in your presentation:

  1. Make sure to come prepared. Use a Power Point presentation with notes and conclusions to help you focus

  2. Present shortly who you are and your problem statement

  3. Present the data that you have collected in order to find a solution for your problem statement

  4. Present you analyses. This means that you present a relevant theory together with your relevant collected data and from that make a conclusion or a reflection, that helps you understand your problem statement.

  5. When you present a theory, remember to present how the theory is relevant in your job and how you can use it

  6. Present your “product” - meaning your action plan

  7. And remember to enjoy :)
